Topics/Call fo Papers
1st IEEE International Symposium on
Communications Software for Intelligent Transport Systems
CSITS 2012
http://csits.it.ubi.pt/
Symposium held in conjunction with IEEE ITST 2012
November 5-8, 2012
Taipei, Taiwan
*** Submission deadline: June 30, 2012 ***
CALL FOR PAPERS
Communications software plays an important role on current computer network, such as vehicular communications and
intelligent transport systems. The objective of this Symposium is to provide a single forum for researchers and
technologists to discuss the state-of-the-art, present their contributions, and set future directions in communications
software for ITS.
We welcome technical papers presenting analytical research, simulations, practical results, position papers addressing the
pros and cons of specific proposals, and papers addressing the key problems and solutions. The topics suggested by the
conference can be discussed in term of concepts, state of the art, standards, deployments, implementations, running
experiments and applications.
Authors are invited to submit complete unpublished papers, which are not under review in any other conference or journal,
including, but are not limited to, the following areas:
- New communication software paradigms for ITS
- Performance and robustness
- Utilization of multiple access networks
- Distributed/ubiquitous computing with ITS
- Algorithms and protocols for ITS
- Optimization for ITS
- Device monitoring and management
- Safety approaches for ITS
- Social and life enhancement
- Mobile services and applications
- Security aspects for ITS
- Economic aspects
- Smart vehicles communications
IMPORTANT DATES
Paper Submission: June 30, 2012
Acceptance Notification: July 31, 2012
Early-Bird Registration: September 30, 2012
