Multimedia applications in vehicles, either safety or non-safety related, are becoming popular. It is critical to maintain reliable mobile communication as well as to utilize the precious mobile bandwidth efficiently. The aim of this special session is to bring out the state-of-the-art research in this area and discover directions for future research.
