SCMBSDP 2012 - Special Sessions on Soft computing models for biomedical signals and data processing

Biomedicine is a highly multidisciplinary area connecting medicine, computer science, statistics and many others. In last two decades, the applications of soft-computing methods in biomedicine became a popular and important issue. This session brings together researchers and practitioners from area of biomedical signal and data processing, who apply neural networks, evolutionary computation, swarm intelligence, fuzzy approaches, or other soft-computing methods and thus improve biomedical and medical databases, medical decision support systems, biomedical models, and other related systems.
