Topics/Call fo Papers

One of the salient features of the future Internet will be the pervasive presence of smart objects, blurring the distinction between computing and everyday “things”. This will transform the way we live, impacting our work, leisure and social activities. The excitement generated by this vision is accompanied by a set of interesting challenges that will need to be overcome to bring about its full benefits: Data generated in ever larger scale, from heterogeneous sources and in different formats; efficient communication between smart objects; low energy associated with smart objects; infrastructure for management and analytics of large data sets and streams; applications for exploiting the IoT technology etc.
The I-SOCA workshop aims at providing a forum for discussion and sharing of research promoting all aspects of the IoT solutions and advancements. Original research papers are invited on all aspects related to the Internet of Things, from smart objects and cloud infrastructure to IoT applications. Practical implementation, deployment and management solutions from industrial contributors are also of interest.
