2015 International Conference on Wireless Communications and Signal Processing (WCSP) (WCSP'15)
October 15-17, 2015, Nanjing, China
The 2015 International Conference on Wireless Communications and Signal Processing (WCSP 2015) is the premier forum for the presentation of new advances and research results in the fields of theoretical, experimental, and applied Wireless Communications and Signal Processing. The conference aims to bring together leading researchers, scientists, engineers and scholar students in the domain of interest to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas and results in challenges encountered and solutions adopted. The event of WCSP 2015 will be held in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China, on October 15-17, 2015.
Nanjing is famed as the capital of six dynasties in Chinese history or, in another saying, the capital of ten dynasties. Her long and splendid civilization has left us the abundance of historical and cultural heritage. Welcome you to Nanjing and take part in our conference.
Technical Symposia: Prospective authors are welcome to submit original technical papers for publication in the conference proceedings and for presentation at the following five symposia through EDAS (http://edas.info/listTracks.php?c=20201):
Publication: All accepted and presented papers will be included in the WCSP15 Conference Proceedings and high quality papers will be recommended to SCI journals. Papers published in WCSP 2009-2014 have been included by IEEE Xplore Digital Library and indexed by EI Compendex.
Important Dates
Submission deadline: June 15, 2015
Acceptance notification: August 1, 2015
Camera-ready paper: August 20, 2015
Conference dates: Oct. 15-17, 2015
Submission Guidelines
All submissions should be written in English with a maximum paper length of six (6) printed pages in IEEE double-column format, including figures without incurring additional page charges (maximum 1 additional page with over length page charge if accepted). Submissions will be accepted through EDAS. More details are provided in the Submission Guideline page of the conference website: http://www.ic-wcsp.org
1.Space Information Network Symposium
Symposium Co‐Chairs
Gengxin Zhang (PLA University of Science and Technology)
Scott C Burleigh (JPL, California Institute of Technology, USA)
Qing Guo (Harbin Institute of Technology)
Scope and Topics of Interest
Space information network is a space-based information infrastructure, which can simultaneously provide communication, navigation and remote sensing service to the ordinary people using the space around us, and is playing an ever increasing role in improving the quality of life of our planet’s inhabitants. The Symposium on Space Information Network aims at the state-of-art research results about space information architecture and networking technologies, satellite communication, deep space communication, satellite navigation, satellite remote sensing and micro-satellite technology.
2.Emerging Areas in Wireless Communications Symposium
Symposium Co‐Chairs
Yueming Cai (PLA University of Science and Technology)
Liang Zhou (Nanjing University of Posts & Telecommunications)
Wei Wang (San Diego State University, USA)
Walid Saad (University of Miami, USA)
Scope and Topics of Interest
The Symposium on Emerging Areas in Wireless Communications aims at acting as a connection bridge between academia and industry interested in the developments of theory, technology, and applications related to wireless communications and networking.
3.Wireless Communication Systems and Networking Symposium
Symposium Co‐Chairs
Hai Wang (PLA University of Science and Technology)
Lin Cai (University of Victoria, Canada)
Shaojie Tang(University of Texas at Dallas, USA)
Fan Wu(Shanghai Jiao Tong University)
Scope and Topics of Interest
The Symposium on Wireless Systems and Networking will focus on new research results as well as practical implementations in the areas of mobile and wireless networking and the enabling systems. Mobile and wireless technologies will continue to evolve and to enable the telecommunication networks to adapt to the traffic demands that are increasing exponentially. There are various techniques and solutions that can extend the network capacity effectively in one hand, while improving the network flexibility, operability, energy efficiency, quality of service (QoS) and quality of experience (QoE) on the other hand. The objective of this symposium is to serve as an international forum for experts from both the academia and industry to exchange ideas and results on research and development, and to promote and accelerate the standardization, applications, and services of current and future wireless communication systems and networks.
4.Signal Processing Symposium
Symposium Co‐Chairs
Qihui Wu (PLA University of Science and Technology)
Shi Jin (Southeast University)
XueMing Li (Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications)
Yulong Zou (Nanjing University of Posts & Telecommunications)
Scope and Topics of Interest
Accompanied with the popularity of mobile devices, multimedia has been the majority of content in wired and wireless networks. More and more media and signal processing algorithms and modules are designed and developed to provide novel solutions to communication and networking. Thus the Media and Signal Processing for Communications Symposium is devoted to the various topics of signal processing, with especial emphases on multimedia processing technologies for wired and wireless communications.
5.Optical Wireless Communications Symposium
Symposium Co‐Chairs
Tao Pu (PLA University of Science and Technology)
Zhengyuan Xu (University of Science and Technology of China)
Zabih Ghassemlooy (Northumbria University, UK)
Jian Chen (Nanjing University of Posts & Telecommunications)
Scope and Topics of Interest
Recently, interest in fundamental and applied research on optical wireless communication technologies has been tremendously boosted by the increasing capacity demands inspired by mobile devices that are unmet by existing RF technologies. New and relatively untapped optical spectrum is considered a frontier for increasing data access in general and niche applications. This arena is broad, encompassing activities in development of optical sources and detectors, imaging architectures, signal processing and communication techniques, systems and networks, in all optical bands such as ultraviolet, visible light and infrared. This symposium invites submissions of original contributions on all aspects of optical wireless communication systems and networks.
