When making decisions, humans unconsciously make use of short-cuts, such as using a reduced set of data, to accomplish these in a practical time. However, in certain circumstances, these short-cuts result in inaccurate judgment, particularly when decisions involve uncertainty. The aim of this workshop is to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to discuss how to reduce the impact of cognitive biases in the systems we build and to establish a roadmap of the state of the art and future research potential.
