CPAF 2010 - International Workshop on Content Protection & Forensics (CPAF 2010)
Topics/Call fo Papers
Abstract: Owing to the advances in digital technology media is often created/recorded, stored and distributed in digital domain. Sometime the created/recorded digital media needs to be protected from unauthorized distributions and some other times the recorded digital media is used as evidence in the court of law. But being digital, the media is neither safe from unauthorized distributions nor can be considered authentic. Digital media can easily be perfectly replicated and distributed through digital networks or through stored media. They can easily be edited using today’s digital media editing tools and thus forge evidence. Thus protecting contents against unauthorized copying and distribution and detecting forgery using forensics techniques are of great importance and challenge in multimedia related research. This workshop on content protection and forensics is intended to bring forth the current advancements in media content protection and media forensics areas.
