In the People, Process and Technology triad forming the foundation of Software Engineering, the Process and Technology aspects have matured through research and industry practices. The people aspects however need further investigation and research related to the same is rightfully gaining importance in recent times and it is the proposed theme of this workshop.
We propose this workshop to discuss following specific and allied topics under these broad areas:
Human Aspects of Software Engineering work related to Modeling Human Aspects that affect Software Engineering outcomes including behavior, abilities, knowledge, teamwork, leadership, management.
Humans as Users of Software Studies about Usability, Experience, Design (of User Interaction/Interface).
Human Centric Systems Work related to modeling and simulation of systems consisting of human individuals and groups. Such human systems could be as consumers in the marketplace, citizens in the community and more.
Humans in loop computing Simulation, Animation, Gamification.
Knowledge and Cognitive Aspects in Software Engineering.
Societal Contributions of Software Engineering Studies about how Software Engineering affected lives of people in various contexts.
Human Resource Engagement in Software Engineering.
