Wireless communications have remained one of the most vibrant and stimulating areas driving forward the Information and Communications Technology. The tomorrow’s picture of networks and communications appears as the convergence of diversified networks, integration of IP based core network and flexible robust wireless access, self-organization and self-management, on-demand service-oriented architectures, to just mention a few striking characteristics.
