ROIS 2013 - 2013 International Conference on Reasoning and Optimization in Information Systems
Topics/Call fo Papers
The first international conference on Reasoning and Optimization in Information Systems (ROIS’2013) is a new born in the field and aims as establishing itself as a first research conference in Reasoning and Optimization.
The main goal is to provide a leading forum for the presentation of original research, as well as the exchange and dissemination of novel ideas, drawing researchers and practitioners from a wide range of research areas related to information systems. These mainly include reasoning, information modeling and querying, decision support and optimization.
The main goal is to advance the state-of-the-art in these general research areas by promoting novel, high quality research findings as well as innovative solutions at both levels: theoretical and industrial. In addition to the technical program, the conference will feature invited talks from research and industry leaders.
Submitted papers will be assessed based on their novelty, technical quality, potential impact, and clarity of writing. For papers that rely heavily on empirical evaluations, the experimental methods and results should be clear, well executed, and repeatable. Authors are strongly encouraged to make data and code publicly available whenever possible.
