Topics/Call fo Papers
The workshop focuses on training in bioinformatics for life scientists. It aims to provide a platform to share past and current Bioinformatics Training experiences and to capitalize on shared knowledge and efforts. During the workshop, community lead initiatives (e.g. the Bioinformatics Training Network (BTN, www.biotnet.org) will be discussed as well as the attendees' priorities and next steps towards a sustainable community for Bioinformatics training. Topics include:
Current state of the art and challenges in bioinformatics training for life scientists in the world.
Specific challenges for those delivering bioinformatics training ? organizers and teachers - and how we can address these.
