iWAT 2012 - 2012 IEEE International Workshop on Antenna Technology "Small Antennas and Unconventional Applications" (iWAT)
Topics/Call fo Papers
The International Workshop on Antenna Technology (iWAT) is an annual IEEE forum for the exchange of information on the progress of research and development in innovative antenna technologies. It especially focuses on small antennas and applications of advanced and artificial materials to the antenna design. iWAT2012 is a continuation of a series of annual international antenna workshops held first in Singapore (2005); and most recently in Lisbon, Portugal (2010) and Hong Kong, PRC (2011).
The workshop is organized by the ECE Department of the University of Arizona and is technically cosponsored by the IEEE AP-S.
The topics of interest include but not limited to the following:
? Small Antennas
? New horizons
? Adaptive (smart) arrays
? Antenna measurements
? Antennas on/in IC packages
? Arrays
? Broadband antennas
? Co-design of antennas
? Conformal antennas
? Embedded antennas
? MEMS/Nano technology for antennas
? Millimeter wave and THz antennas
? Modeling and simulations
? Miniaturization of antennas
? Non-Foster/active elements
