Although institutionalization and job satisfaction are concepts that are frequently addressed in the literature, it is seen that there are limited number of studies in which these concepts are evaluated together. Both institutionalization and job satisfaction are important concepts for the long-term survival of hotel businesses like other businesses. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between the perception of institutionalization and job satisfaction of the employees in the hotel businesses with tourism operation certificate operating in Eskişehir. Within the scope of this aim, a questionnaire was applied to 207 employees who were determined according to the convenience sampling method between October and December 2019. The collected data were analyzed in the current statistical program. According to the analysis, there is a statistically significant relationship between the perception of institutionalization and job satisfaction; It has been determined that 44.2% of job satisfaction can be explained by the perception of institutionalization. Accordingly, hotel enterprises that want to increase their employees job satisfaction should strive towards institutionalization.
