The 1st International workshop on Technology-Enhanced Social Learning will be jointly held with 4th IEEE International Conference on Cyber, Physical, and Social Computing (CPSCom 2011) in Dalian, China at October 19-22, 2011 The aim of this workshop is to provide a forum, where the international participants can share their knowledge on the latest developments in TESLs and map out the directions for future developments and the research collaborations. Participants of the workshop will be able to interact and exchange ideas, which we hope we can stimulate more exciting ideas for future research. All accepted papers in TESL2011 will be published in the Proceedings of CPSCom 2011, with IEEE Publisher, which will be indexed by EI Compedex and ISTP.
Social networking, participatory media and cyber infrastructure provide remarkable opportunities for making social media integral to distributed learning environments. Social learning is also becoming a new communication and networking method in sectors education. Social learning creates a higher degree of engagement among participants and offer significantly higher quality of contents as compared to formal learning. It is currently being considered as a leading method of spreading knowledge in various environments, which include formal settings such as enterprise and business-related environments. We welcome contributions, which will help advance visions, technologies, research and theories to be much better support learning and educational purposes.

Papers reporting original and unpublished research results and experience are solicited. Papers will be selected based on their originality, timeliness, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings.
Papers of workshop proceedings will be indexed by EI. Distinguished papers will be selected into at least 2 SCI indexed journals.
Submissions should include abstract, key words, the e-mail address of the corresponding author, and must not exceed 6 pages, including tables and figures, according to the IEEE format.
