Annual Summit on Business and Entrepreneurial Studies (ASBES 2011) is a traditional conference for scholars of business and entrepreneurial studies, welcoming participants from around the world, with broad and diverse research interests. Among the many topics related to business and entrepreneurship, the special focus of ASBES 2011 is on Social Responsibility, Professional Ethics and Management. Issues of ethical business, social and environmental sustainability and cohesion of organizations, fair remuneration of workers and management have become prominent during the recent financial crises.
The aim of the conference is to present and discuss research that contributes to the sharing of new theoretical, methodological and empirical knowledge, and to better understanding of business and entrepreneurship practices, in particular in the field of social responsibility and ethics in business. Papers related to issues of intercultural dialogue and business in multicultural societies is thus especially welcome.
Contributions from various areas of business and entrepreneurship are welcome; also scholars in other disciplines offering new perspectives on the conference theme are encouraged to participate. The conference will focus on the following topics:
