ANCRiSST 2011 - Asian-Pacific Network of Centers for Research in Smart Structure Technology (ANCRiSST

The Asian-Pacific Network of Centers for Research in Smart Structure Technology (ANCRiSST) will hold its 6th Annual Workshop in Dalian, China on July 25 - 26, 2011. This consortium was established in 2002 and currently consists of 20 research Institutions.
The purpose of the Workshop is to assess the current progress of smart materials and structures technology and to develop synergies among researchers in various disciplines from different countries that will facilitate joint research projects that are of such scope and magnitude that cannot be easily carried out by the individual centers.
In addition, the ANCRiSST summer school will follow this workshop (start on July 28, 2011 at Tongji University of China)
The workshop will consist of keynote lectures, technical presentations, and panel discussions. Technical papers are sought in all areas related to smart materials and smart structures. Contributions of papers from non-ANCRiSST members are also welcome.
