ICMS 2011 - 12th International Conference on Metal Structures
Topics/Call fo Papers
XII International Conference
on Metal Structures - Wrocław 2011
The conference will be held in Wrocław ? Poland on 15-17 June, 2011. It is a continuation of the tradition of metal structures conferences that have been taking place in Poland since 1958. The last three conferences were organized in Kraków (1995), Gdańsk (2001) and Rzeszów (2006).
The conference is intended to provide a forum for discussion and exchange of experience on recent developments in the areas related to the structural behaviour and modelling, analysis and design, standardization, education, innovations, manufacturing and construction, maintenance and rehabilitation of steel, aluminium and composite structures.
The conference is addressed to academic researchers, designers, industrial practitioners, steel producers, contractors and also architects interested in metal structures.
The conference topics include:
- fundamental aspects of structural behaviour and modelling,
- advanced analysis methods,
- joints and connections,
- design codes, incl. Eurocodes,
- innovative materials and structural systems (e.g. cable and membrane structures),
- structures from cold-formed profiles and sheets,
- concrete-steel and plastic-steel composite structures,
- steel and composite bridges,
- shell and plated structures,
- spatial and long-span structures,
- structural shaping and optimization,
- robustness,
- durability and maintenance,
- light cladding, covering and facades,
- fabrication and erection,
- fire engineering.
