CALL FOR PAPERS
Special Session on CCI-based Optimization Models (CCIBOM 2011)
at
3rd International Conference on Computational Collective Intelligence - Technologies and Applications (ICCCI 2011)
21-23 September 2011
Gdynia, Poland.
SCOPE:
The aim of the Special Session on CCI-based Optimization Models (CCIBOM) is to bring together researchers interested in various optimization models and problem solving techniques based on collective computational intelligence to share their experience, present current research results and discuss advanced techniques. Topics of submitted papers should focus on methods and applications where the tools and techniques exploiting collective computational intelligence are used to enhance, support or replace traditional approaches to solving optimization problems. In particular, we encourage papers reporting on the real-life applications of the CCI-based optimization models.
TOPICS OF INTERESTS:
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Cooperative problem solving and optimization
- Collective decision making
- Agent-based modeling and simulation
- Evolutionary and co-evolutionary algorithms and their applications
- Distributed optimization
- Multi-agent optimization techniques and their applications
- Application of intelligent techniques for optimization problems
PROCEEDINGS:
The papers will be reviewed by ICCCI 2011 International Program Committee. The best submissions will be selected for presentation and will be included in the symposium proceedings. The symposium proceedings are planned to be published and distributed by Springer-Verlag in series LNCS/LNAI.
DEADLINES:
Deadline for paper submission: March 31, 2011
Notification of acceptance: April 30, 2011
Camera ready papers submission: May 15, 2011
SESSION CHAIRS:
Prof. Piotr Jędrzejowicz
