The Second International Workshop on Future Information System Technologies and Applications
( FISTA 2011, http://www.is.kyusan-u.ac.jp/hpcc/fista2011 )
June 20~23, 2011, University of Cantabria, Santander, Spain
(In conjunction with ICCSA 2011, http://www.iccsa.org/)
IMPORTANT DATES
January 31, 2011 (Extended): Deadline of Abstract and Full Paper submission
March 7, 2011: Authors Notification
April 4, 2011: Submission Deadline of Camera Ready Papers
April 4, 2011: Deadline of Authors and Early-bird Registration
Advances and developments in information computing systems are fast growing towards more complex,
heterogeneous, dynamically scalable, ubiquitous, autonomic, and trustworthy computing systems.
The emerging cloud computing technology as an abstraction of concealed complex infrastructure
of virtualized resources and provided as web services, has spurred the grand challenges in computing.
The aim of the workshop is to provide a venue of scientific interaction of grand challenging research
areas of and development of future platforms of complex network computing system technologies and applications.
The accepted papers of the FISTA-2011 workshop will be published by the Conference Publishing Service (CPS)
of the IEEE Computer Society.
Furthermore, selected high-quality papers in FISTA-2011, after further revision and extension,
will be published in International Journal of Pervasive Computing and Communications,
or the Journal of Ubiquitous Computing and Intelligence.
Topics include but are not limited to the following:
-Cloud/Grid/Cluster/P2P Computing
-Social Networking and Computing
-Web and Grid Service-based Applications
-Ubiquitous Computing Applications
-Embedded Computing and Systems
-Ubiquitous Intelligence and Smart Devices/World
-Ubiquitous/Pervasive Networks and Computing
-Autonomic Computing/Networking
-Service Oriented Computing
-Wireless and Mobile Networking/Computing
-Internet Computing and Web Applications
-Parallel/Distributed Computing
-Multimedia Systems/Applications
-Future Internet Architecture
