ReCoSoC 2011

6th International Workshop on
Reconfigurable and Communication-centric Systems-on-Chip

June 20-22 2011 - Montpellier, France

http://www.recosoc.org

ReCoSoC is an informal workshop aiming to encourage technical and scientific
exchanges between senior academics and young researchers in the area of
reconfigurable and communication-centric systems-on-chip.

One of its original principles is to obtain sponsoring from companies and
funding agencies, so that registration fees are kept low and the participation
of doctoral students is stimulated.

This year ReCoSoC will be held at the University of Montpellier 2, LIRMM,
CNRS, Montpellier, France.

All papers will be published in the workshop proceedings, and the authors
of the best papers will be invited to submit an extended version to a special
issue of ACM Transactions on Reconfigurable Technology and Systems. Previous
ReCoSoC special issues have appeared in Hindawi's International Journal of
Reconfigurable Computing and Elsevier's Microprocessors and Microsystems.

Important dates:

Paper submission deadline: April 3, 2011
Notification of acceptance: May 1, 2011
Final version deadline: May 20, 2011

Topics of interest:

- reconfigurable and adaptive embedded SoCs
- multiprocessor embedded systems
- on-chip communication architectures
- communication-centric design techniques
- partial, dynamic and self reconfiguration techniques
- specification languages and environments
- verification and evaluation techniques
- low power design of reconfigurable and multiprocessor SoCs
- OS and middleware for reconfigurable and multiprocessor SoCs
- new paradigms for reconfigurable and communication-centric computing
