ECIA 2018 - 2018 International Workshop on Evolutionary Computation and Its Applications (ECIA 2018)
Topics/Call fo Papers
Evolutionary Computation (EC) is a class of meta-heuristic search algorithms inspired by nature evolution. Typical ECs include Genetic Algorithm (GA), Genetic Programming (GP), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Differential Evolution (DE), and Estimation of Distribution Algorithm (EDA). In the past decades, EC has undergone a rapid development and many improved EC variants have been proposed. The applications of ECs are also multiplying fast, including continuous optimization, combinatorial optimization, classification, time series prediction, evolutionary multi-objective optimization. The objective of this workshop is to reflect the recent developments of EC and its applications in sensor networks, smart cities, and others.
The main topics include but are not limited to:
Genetic Algorithm.
Differential Evolution.
Particle Swarm Optimization.
Genetic Programming.
Ant Colony Optimization.
Parallelization of EC.
Multi-objective EC.
Multi-tasking EC.
Memetic EC.
Cooperative Co-evolutionary EC.
Theoretical analysis of EC.
Applications of EC.
