CALL FOR PAPERS

MobiSense is intended to bring together researchers, developers, and
practitioners from academia and industry, to share practical
implementations/experiences related to emerging mobile sensing
technologies, mobile sensing systems/platforms, and novel sensing
applications, and to discuss future trends in research and applications.
To that end, papers are solicited from the areas, including, but not
limited to:

* New mobile sensing technologies that can be integrated with mobile
devices/systems, such as
motion sensing, activity recognition, location detection, sound
and image sensing and processing, environmental sensing
* Machine learning algorithms and data mining techniques of large
volume of human-centric sensing data
* Mobile sensing systems, platforms, and middleware, such as
support for modeling, performance measurement, energy efficiency,
privacy and security
* Mobile sensing applications such as
healthcare and fitness, entertainment and gaming, surveillance,
navigation and mobile user interfaces
* Intersection between mobile sensing and cloud computing
* Sensing interfaces and usability studies
