Topics/Call fo Papers
3rd International Workshop on Search-driven development: Users, Infrastructure, Tools and Evaluation.
Co-located with 33rd International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE)
Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii, 2011
The SUITE workshop series focuses on exploring search as a fundamental activity during software development. SUITE 2011, like its predecessors, will devote attention to various research topics pertaining to the information needs of software developers. The information needs of software developers range from those related to code (writing, changing, fixing, communicating code) to process (design) and people (colleagues). SUITE 2011 will provide a forum for interested researchers to discuss high quality research on the human aspects as well as the core technical issues related to the information needs in software development. With this, SUITE 2011 aims to find solutions to address various information needs of software developers.
Workshop Goals
The goal of the workshop is to identify the search driven nature of software development as a key research topic. Topics related to search driven development range from core technical issues to human aspects. Therefore, SUITE 2011 aims to bring together researchers and practitioners with diverse interests with backgrounds such as Software Engineering, Human Computer Interaction, Information Retrieval etc. SUITE 2011 aims to attract and foster a community of researchers who are interested in understanding and fulfilling various information needs of software development.
