BioWireleSS 2012 - 2012 IEEE Topical Conference on Biomedical Wireless Technologies, Networks, and Sensing Systems (BioWireleSS)
Topics/Call fo Papers
Please join us for the 1st Annual IEEE Topical Conference on Biomedical Wireless Technologies, Networks, and Sensing Systems. The first ever BioWireleSS topical conference will be held as part of the IEEE Radio and Wireless Symposium which falls in the IEEE Radio Wireless Week. The 2011 RWW is being held in sunny Phoenix, Arizona at the Renaissance Glendale Hotel. The IEEE is dedicated to pioneering new, exciting areas of research. This is the first ever IEEE conference focused on the wireless revolution targeting the medical field. We are excited about this emerging area of research and look forward to the coming together of medical professionals, engineers, and industry representatives. Major technological advances have been made both in the wireless and medical industries. A huge potential exists for the innovation and incorporation of wireless in various facets of the medical profession. We have targeted a comprehensive set of research topics to cover the full spectrum of research being done in this area. We are focused on providing a healthy mix of actual clinical work incorporating wireless technologies with more fundamental science and engineering research in this area. We also hope you take advantage of the sunshine and warmer temperatures in Phoenix by playing a round of golf, checking out the local boutiques, or even taking a day hike.
We look forward to seeing you in sunny Arizona!
Mohamed R. Mahfouz, Ph.D.
Rizwan Bashirullah, Ph.D.
