ARC 2018 - 14th International Symposium on Applied Reconfigurable Computing
Topics/Call fo Papers
Reconfigurable computing technologies offer the promise of substantial performance gains over traditional architectures via customizing, even at runtime, the topology of the underlying architecture to match the specific needs of a given application. Contemporary configurable architectures allow for the definition of architectures with functional and storage units that match in function, bit-width and control structures the specific needs of a given computation. The flexibility enabled by reconfiguration is also seen as a basic technique for overcoming transient failures in emerging device structures.
The International Symposium of Applied Reconfigurable Computing (ARC) aims to bring together researchers and practitioners of reconfigurable computing with an emphasis on practical applications of this promising technology. This year's Symposium will have a series of international invited speakers who will express their views on the future of reconfigurable technology. The accepted papers will published by Springer-Verlag as a Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series volume, will also be available through the SpringerLink on-line service (www.springer.com/lncs), and will be indexed by ISI Proceedings and EI-Compendex.
Special Session on European and National Funded Projects: The ARC 2018 conference will include an extra section of the Proceedings dedicated to European and National Projects. Coordinators of funded projects addressing ARC relevant topics are invited to submit a paper describing the recent accomplishments, preliminary ideas, or work in progress scenarios of the projects. Papers will be peer-reviewed as regular ARC submissions. The deadline for Project papers is the deadline of the conference. For more information, please contact: Christos Antonopoulos.
