CINP 2012 - Congress of the Internation College Neuropsychopharmacology
Topics/Call fo Papers
The International College of Neuropsychopharmacology (CINP) invites you to attend our
28th Biennial World Congress hosted in one of the most beautiful capital cities in Europe, Stockholm, Sweden.
We are very pleased to report that yet again we have received a large number of applications for symposia for the 28th CINP World Congress of Neuropsychopharmacology. The International Scientific Programme Committee, at a meeting in March 2011, spent two days deliberating over the many excellent suggestions and finally managed to select 38 in total. These symposia are listed from page 9 of this brochure. In addition to the regular symposia we are now developing the Educational Track for the meeting, ?details of which will be regularly updated on our website.
Our seven Plenary speakers in 2012 are truly world class scientists. We are delighted that they have all agreed to participate in the meeting giving you, the delegate, an opportunity to hear first hand from these eminent speakers in their field. Full details of all our Plenary speakers can be found on pages 22 to 26.
You, as a delegate, can also contribute to the science. We would like to encourage you to consider submitting a poster for the 28th CINP World Congress and instructions on how to do this are contained on page 20. It is very important to the scientific field to see and hear the latest developments that are up and coming and a poster is the ideal forum to present this science. We would also like to encourage our younger colleagues to consider submitting a poster which will give you access to show your work to all the delegates attending our World Congress.
CINP is a world organisation devoted to the education and development of our science. By contributing or attending this Congress in Stockholm you will have the opportunity to participate in one of the top global scientific meetings. We are particularly fortunate to be able to enjoy our five days of science set in the beautiful city of Stockholm.
For those who have not had the opportunity to sample the Swedish way of life this is a must. Stockholm, the capital city of Sweden, is built on 14 islands connected by 57 bridges. Rich in cultural life and with a 750 year history this congress will offer you the oppor?tunity to enjoy stimulating days of science and cultural evenings. This is therefore a compelling and fascinating reason to attend our congress as there are very few congresses which can boast taking place in a location steeped in history and culture. We are delighted to be able to bring this meeting to the purpose built congress centre in Stockholm, which is located close to the city centre and is accessible by high speed transport links. Stockholm itself offers a wide range of all types of accommodation and many lively and international restaurants.
We look forward to welcoming you in Stockholm in 2012.
