RADMA 2011 - The R&D Management Conference 2011 R&D, Sustainability and Innovation, the need for new ideas, initiatives and alliances

n a world marked by financial instability and unprecedented environmental challenges, sustainable products, services and business models are becoming a central concern for R&D Management. Firms and entrepreneurs have to discover opportunities and integrate knowledge across a variety of fields to break the connection between economic growth and fossil energy consumption. R&D managers, innovation researchers, environmental experts and policy specialists need to team up to devise effective proposals for regulations and policy mixes. Alliances need to be formed to support the required investments in R&D and infrastructure, in spite of volatile financial markets and strained public finances.

The R&D Management Conference 2011 aims to comprehensively explore and address this theme and welcomes papers from a broad range of scientific communities and industrial participants to achieve this objective.
