IoTMob 2016 - Special Session on INTERNET-OF-THINGS IN MOBILITY APPLICATIONS (IoTMob)
Topics/Call fo Papers
The Special Session on INTERNET-OF-THINGS IN MOBILITY APPLICATIONS (IoTMob) will be held at the 22nd International Conference on Information and Software Technologies (ICIST) scheduled on the 13-15 October, 2016 in Druskininkai, Lithuania.
SCOPE
The Internet-of-Things (IoT) is changing the way mobility is organized and causing disruptive innovations in developing and manufacturing cars, trains, ships, and aerial vehicles. Automated driving, novel concepts for Human-Machine-Interaction (HMI) and eMobility become feasible due to the introduction of IoT technology. The Google Car and the Apple Car are approaching the scene. The issues and scientific research questions arising from these trends can only be solved in an interdisciplinary way and computer scientist need to prepare for this research. The special Session on Internet-of-things in Mobility Applications (IoTMob) aims to cover topics related to the latest achievements and findings in this area. Special respect is given to applied research including demonstrators and industrial applications.
TOPICS
Authors are invited to submit full papers describing original research work associated with Internet-of-Things in mobility applications areas including, but not limited to:
- Connected Car, Car2X, Open Vehicle Ecosystems
- IoT in eMobility
- Open Source in IoT
- 5G and IEEE802.11p as Communication Standards for Mobile IoT
- IoT in Waterway Mobility
- IoT in Aerospace
- IoT in Sports and Leisure
