The 2016 international summer school on autonomous agents and multiagent systems will be held from 6th-8th May 2016, right before the AAMAS conference at the School of Information Systems, Singapore Management University. The summer school would provide mini-lectures suited for graduate students and early career researchers working broadly in the area of autonomous agents. The topics covered would include important areas in autonomous agents and multiagent systems such as:
- Agent cooperation
- Agent reasoning and planning
- Agent coordination
- Mechanism design
- Game theory
- Learning and adaptation
The summer school will consist of 5 mini-courses (each roughly 3-4 hours long) given by distinguished speakers in the field of autonomous agents and multiagent systems. These courses can provide introduction to the field as well as provide focus on the current research frontier.
Students and researchers interested in multiagent systems research are welcome to attend the school. Student registration is *FREE*. As the space is limited, we encourage early registrations by attendees to guarantee a place.
Based on the available funding, deserving candidates (particularly from under-represented regions) will be considered for travel support.
The list of speakers includes (the detailed schedule will be available soon):
- Prof. Maria Gini (University of Minnesota Twin Cities)
- Prof. David Hsu (National University of Singapore)
- Prof. Kevin Leyton-Brown (University of British Columbia)
- Prof. Milind Tambe (University of Southern California)
- Prof. Makoto Yokoo (Kyushu University)
