PRIME 2011 - 2011 7th Conference on Ph.D. Research in Microelectronics and Electronics (PRIME)
Topics/Call fo Papers
The PRIME conference is a very special event since it is the one conference specifically dedicated to Ph .D. students in Microelectronics and Electronics. In fact, all the contributions have to be presented by Ph. D. students. At PRIME 2011 is expected the participation of researchers, university professors and companies which operates into the recent progress of research in the microelectronics and electronics field.
The objectives of PRIME are:
? to encourage favourable exposure to Ph.D. students in the early stages of their careers,
? to benchmark Ph.D. research in a friendly and cooperative environment,
? to enable sharing of students’ and supervisors’ experiences of scientific and engineering research, and
? to connect Ph.D. students and their supervisors with companies and research centres.
In addition to the Ph.D. students’ presentation, at Prime2011 there will be keynote talks, short courses, a tour of an integrated circuit manufacturing facility and a company fair to allow Ph.D. students to make contact with industries and other research institutions.
PRIME is an international itinerant conference. The previous editions took place so far:
PRIME 2010, organized by Berlin Institute of Technology in Berlin, Germany.
PRIME 2009, organized by University College Cork in Cork, Ireland.
PRIME 2008, organized by Bogaziçi University in Istanbul, Turkey.
PRIME 2007, organized by University of Bordeaux in Bordeaux, France.
PRIME 2006, organized by University of Lecce in Otranto, Italy.
PRIME 2005, organized by EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland.
