Fiber-Wireless 2016 - Workshop on Fiber-Wireless Integration
Topics/Call fo Papers
Optical and wireless systems, which in the past developed as separate network entities with a few standard
interfaces, have entered a new phase of development as fully integrated networks. To provide high bandwidth
and reliable service for both fixed and mobile users, a well-designed network must take into account both
optical and wireless transmission, with efficient allocation of resources and satisfaction of QoS requirements
within this hybrid network environment. This half-day workshop will bring together researchers and developers
with presentations on topics across a wide range of topics.
Topics of Interest
Integration of Emerging Standards
