The Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (SBRC) is an annual event promoted by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) and by the Brazilian National Computer Networks Laboratory (LARC). Over the years, SBRC has become the main Brazilian scientific event on computer networks and distributed systems. The number of attendees per year varies from 800 to 1,200, and the paper acceptance rate is around 30%, with well over 200 submissions registered in the past few years.
In its 27th edition, SBRC will take place in Recife, from May 25th to May 29th, 2009. SBRC 2009 will be organised and coordinated by the Informatics Centre (CIn) of the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). The program of the symposium includes technical sessions, tools demonstrations, short courses, panels, and workshops, invited talks and tutorials.
Topics of interest
Authors are invited to submit original contributions reporting scientific and technical research. Each paper will be reviewed by at least three specialists from the technical program committee. The non-exhaustive list of topics of interest related to computer networks and distributed systems includes:
¡¤ Active networks and VPN
