Topics/Call fo Papers
The International Conference on Engineering Education (ICEEDU), organized by the IEEE
Education Society of Malaysia Section serves as a forum for academia, educators and
researchers from industry to present and share their innovations, pedagogies and good practices
in engineering education. ICEEDU 2010, which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, also
aims to provide an opportunity for delegates to exchange ideas and to gain a better cohesion and
collaboration in the fields of mutual interest.
SCOPES of CONFERENCE PAPER
ICEEDU2010 is seeking original high quality submissions addressing the innovative researches
and good practices in the fields of engineering education. Papers are solicited on, but not limited
to, the following topics:
? Active Learning
? Accreditation
? Assessment
? Capstone Project Design and Assessment
? Current Trends in Engineering Education
? Distance Learning: Methods, Technologies, and
Assessment
? Engineering Curriculum Design and Development
? Entrepreneurship Programs, Engineering Ethics
? E-learning and e-assessment
? First Year Experiences
? Globalization of Engineering Education
? Industry and Academia Collaboration
? Learning Models
? Lifelong Learning
? Multimedia Teaching Tools
? Pedagogies
? Quality Assurance in Engineering Education
? Supervision : postgraduate/final year project
? Teaching Methods
? Undergraduate Research Experiences
Two best paper awards will be given out during the conference.
Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers of four (4) to six (6) pages length including results,
figures and references in standard IEEE double-column format of A4 paper size. Papers will be accepted
only by electronic submission through the conference website, where guidelines for submission of papers
are provided. It is recommended to use the template available from the website for your paper preparation.
A blind review process will be used to evaluate all submitted papers. Each full registration covers a
maximum of two papers. Student registration will cover a single-paper final submission and presentation.
All accepted and registered papers which are presented at the conference will be published in the
conference proceedings (CDROM) and uploaded to IEEExplore database, which is SCOPUS indexed..
