BDAT 2015 - International Workshop on Big data applications in Telecoms (BDAT 2015)
Topics/Call fo Papers
Big Data has become ubiquitous in telecoms. The great amount of telecom data challenges state-of-the-art data computation and analysis methods. The aim of this workshop is to gather together experts in Big Data, to promote its applications in telecoms. The topics includes, but not limited to the followings:
1.Case studies. Focus on exploring telecoms and the other related public big data to promote their applications on smart city, e-government and related areas. Real world applications with creative solutions are preferred.
2.Business model. Focus on big data business model analysis and big data monetisation in telecoms. This topic is also closely related to the laws and technical issues of privacy.
3.Techniques and algorithms. Focus on applying following techniques on telecom big data:1) DPI data collection, preprocessing and related algorithms; 2) content based URL classification; 3)customer behavior classification, cross-selling, customer maintenance and such customer relation management methods ;4)semantic discovery, machine learning ,deep learning and so on intelligent computing models.
publication
The proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag as part of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series.
