WDMA 2015 - 1st International Workshop on Web Data Mining and Applications (WDMA 2015)
Topics/Call fo Papers
He Web is continuing to develop into the ultimate information repository of the world. Users publish and share textual documents as well as multimedia data on various Websites including social network systems and Web portals. With tons of data created everyday on the Web, there is a growing interest in developing and applying data mining techniques to discover useful knowledge from user-generated data on the Web. This workshop on Web Data Mining and Applications (WDMA 2015) aims to contribute to the development of data mining algorithms and applications for user-generated data on the Web.
TOPICS OF INTEREST
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Review analysis - developing and applying text mining techniques to user reviews, for user profiling, product recommendation, and etc.
Personalized knowledge graph for individual user - Customizing knowledge graph by providing users with quick access to relevant and targeted information about entities of user interests.
Semantic processing - developing algorithms for semantic processing of Web data to enhance the effectiveness of information retrieval.
Finding influential users in social network systems - Modelling information propagation and user behaviour in social networks to discover influential users.
