MediaEval 2015 - MediaEval Benchmarking Initiative for Multimedia Evaluation (MediaEval)
Topics/Call fo Papers
He MediaEval 2015 Workshop is dedicated to presenting research results in the area of multimedia access and retrieval. The results address challenges that are offered by the MediaEval 2015 Benchmarking Initiative for Multimedia Evaluation. Speech-related challenges include the Query by Example Search on Speech Task (QUESST), which is dedicated to low-resource/zero resource spoken term detection. They also include tasks on finding people in broadcast TV content and on multimodal search in large multimedia archives.
The regular registration to participate in the benchmark challenges runs mid-March through May 2015 (although late registration for some challenges is possible). Challenge participants present their results at the MediaEval 2015 Workshop. The workshop also welcomes participants who did not take part in the benchmark, but who are interested in learning more about multimedia.
