The ISCA Special Interest Group on Speech and Language Technology in Education (SIG SLaTE) promotes the use of speech and language technology for educational purposes, and provides a forum for exchanging information regarding recent developments and other matters of interest related to this topic.
The Workshop on Speech and Language Technologies for Education (SLaTE) is a well-established, international workshop, which takes place every second year. SLaTE 2015 is the sixth workshop in this series and will be organized by the Pattern Recognition Lab of Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) in cooperation with Hochschule für Telekommunikation Leipzig (HfTL).
