An international short-term course on "Enabling Internet of Things with Cloud and Big Data Networking" is being organized during May 25-June 7, 2015, at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, West Bengal, India (www.iitkgp.ac.in). This course is part of the popular International Summer and Winter Term (ISWT) program of IIT Kharagpur. Eligible students/faculty/working professionals from around the world can participate in the program. Eligible students at Kharagpur and outside can take this course for credit in their course curriculum, if their university permits them. The course will be delivered by reputed International and National faculty and will be conducted at IIT Kharagpur.
On successful completion of the course, certificate of participation will be issued to all the candidates by the Continuing Education office of IIT Kharagpur, on the recommendation from the Coordinator.
Attendance of each of the candidates will be taken regularly. Certificate of completion of the course will be given to candidates successfully completing the course.
As there are only a few seats available, early-bird registrants will be given preference.
International participants will be issued a letter for them to apply for visa.

The course fee does not cover other expenses such as accommodation and food. Accommodation will be available in our guest houses and student hostels on a payment basis (prices are reasonably cheap). Early booking is necessary to ensure the availability of low-priced accommodation.
The deadline for submitting the Registration Form is April 30, 2015. Since only a few seats are available, early-bird registrants will be given preference.
TOURISM: Participants will have the unique opportunity to tour India as well. Kharagpur is around 150 Kms from Kolkata (Calcutta), India, which is full of tourist attractions such as Victorial Memorial, Birla Planetorium, Howrah Bridge, Science City, etc. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Places_of_interest_in... for more information.
