In both industrialized and developing countries, economic and social progress depends on improved telecommunications. Communication in the whole of the World is revolutionized with the advent of Satellites. The role of Satellite networks in global communications is growing at an unprecedented pace. Future Internet will be benefited from Satellite connectivity in terms of global coverage, ubiquitous connectivity, network deployability and resilience. However, there exist several challenges to be addressed for the realization of these objectives.
The objective of the special session is to provide a forum for researchers and technologists to present new ideas and contributions in the form of technical papers and tutorials of ideas in the field of Satellite communications and networking.
