GREEN 2015 - International Workshop on Green and Energy Efficient Networks (GREEN)
Topics/Call fo Papers
The growing needs for higher data rates and better quality of service in communications in the past decade have driven communication networks to take an increasing potion of total electric energy consumption worldwide. It is thus urgent to develop energy-efficient and eco-sustainable communications and networking technologies and systems, so as to contribute to global emission reduction and energy savings, as well as long-term sustainability and expansion of communication networks.
The first International Workshop on Green and Energy Efficient Networks (GrEEN) aims to bring innovative contributions to the research on "green" networks and approaches for energy efficiency and energy sustainability. We solicit original research results onall aspects of green communications, such as green wireless communication, green smart grid communications, energy harvesting, green ad hoc and sensor networks, and green smart home networking.
