The IEEE GLOBECOM, the annual flagship conference of the IEEE Communications
Society (ComSoc), is the premier telecommunications event for academics,
industry professionals, military and government agencies from around the
world. IEEE GLOBECOM 2011 will host its 54th annual conference during 5 - 9
December 2011 in Houston, Texas.

Themed "Energizing Global Communications", IEEE GLOBECOM 2011 covers the
entire range of communications technologies, offering in-depth information
on the latest developments in voice, data, image, and multimedia. IEEE
GLOBECOM 2011 features 12 Specific Symposia, World-Class Technical Leaders'
Keynote Speeches, Tutorials, Workshops and the Industrial Forum and
Exhibitions.



IEEE GLOBECOM 2011 opens all tutorial sessions to conference attendees FREE
of charge.

PAPER SUBMISSIONS

We invite the submission of original, unpublished technical papers to the
following 12 symposia:

Wireless Networking Symposium
Selected Areas in Communications Symposium


TUTORIALS

Proposals are invited for half-day Tutorials on communications and
networking topics. Please see the proposal template on the conference
website. The Tutorial proposals should be submitted to EDAS for review.


WORKSHOPS

Proposals are invited for Workshops on the latest technical and business
issues on communications and networking topics. The Workshops proposals
should follow the template given on the conference website and be submitted
to EDAS for review.


INDUSTRIAL FORUM AND EXHIBITION (IF&E)

These forums are designed to deliver broad interest programming focused on
telecommunication industry's current practiced technology, major technology
implementations, complex IT business systems, regulatory impact assessments,
economic models, and engineering methods used by industry practitioners. One
page proposals and/or full paper submissions addressing industry
applications of communications and networking technologies are invited. The
IF&E Proposals should be submitted to EDAS for review.
