IC2E 2015 - IEEE International Conference on Cloud Engineering (IC2E)
Topics/Call fo Papers
The IEEE International Conference on Cloud Engineering (IC2E) conference series seeks to provide a high-quality and comprehensive forum, where researchers and practitioners can exchange information on engineering principles, enabling technologies, and practical experiences as related to cloud computing. By bringing together experts that work on different levels of the cloud stack - systems, storage, networking, platforms, databases, and applications, IC2E will offer an end-to-end view on the challenges and technologies in cloud computing, foster research that addresses the interaction between different layers of the stack, and ultimately help shape the future of cloud-transformed business and society.
IC2E 2015 solicits submissions for the programs and events listed below.
Research papers
Industrial papers
Tutorial proposals
Panel proposals
Doctoral symposium contributions
Workshop proposals
We invite submissions of high quality contributions describing fully developed results or on-going foundational and applied work relating to all aspects of cloud engineering defined broadly, including
X as a Service, where X includes Backend, Business Process, Database, Information, Infrastructure, Network, Platform, Security, Software, and Storage
Big data management and analytics
Mobile cloud computing
Virtualization technology
Performance, dependability, and service level agreements
Cloud security, privacy, compliance, and trust
Workload deployment and migration
Energy management in cloud centers
Cloud programming models and tools
Hybrid cloud integration
Service lifecycle management
Service management automation
Metering, pricing, and software licensing
Cloud applications
We particularly encourage submissions on topics of emerging interest in the research and development communities. Proposals for accompanying workshops are also solicited on topics that demand dedicated coverage due to their relevance to the current data management research and development. The program will also include industrial presentations, a doctoral symposium, and keynote and invited talks by leaders in academia and industry, including a "Cloud Summit". All aspects of the submission and notification process will be handled electronically. Calls for papers and detailed submission information will be available at http://conferences.computer.org/IC2E/2015/. This year, the conference will be held in Tempe, Arizona. Arizona promises stunning desert vistas and a breathtaking setting. Adjacent to Phoenix, the fifth most populated city in the United States, many attractions, parks, and recreational areas -including the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Petrified Forest, and Painted Desert- are within a short distance.
The conference is internationally sponsored and supported by many universities and organizations including the following listed.
General Co-Chairs
K. Selcuk Candan, Arizona State University, USA
Kyung D. Ryu, IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, USA
Program Co-Chairs
Christian S. Jensen, Aalborg University, Denmark
