ISQua’s 32nd International Conference will be held in Doha's National Convention centre. Each year ISQua brings delegates together from across the world to hear from leaders in their field share their expertise and knowledge through a multidisciplinary forum including scientific sessions and networking social events.

Travelling to Qatar
Doha Airport is served by 31 International airlines, including major national carriers such as:
Qatar Airways, British Airways, KLM and Eirmates
The above airlines all operate regular scheduled flights from Europe, the US, Australia and New Zealand among other. The Airport is just 8km from the city centre, with Doha’s Corniche, the old city and West Bay district are not more than a 15 minute drive away. Most hotels will arrange airport pick-ups and drop-offs. Various car-hire agencies have kiosks inside the Arrivals terminal.
Visa
Tourist visas are available on entry for citizens of 33 countries. The cost of a visa for a month is QR100 and an additional QR50 per companion registered on your visa. Tourist entry visa is available on arrival for residents of the GCC states. You can also apply for a joint visa for Qatar and Oman. Business Visa: You can avail of two types of business visa. A 72-hour visa on arrival and one that you have to apply for in advance can be extended.

Currency / Exchange Rate
Qatari currency is named Riyal. 1 Riyal is split into 100 Dirham. Qatar currency exists in both paper and coin forms. The rate of exchange varies but it is usually QR5 to ?1 or QR3.5 to US$1.
Language
Arabic is the official language of Qatar and English is common second language.
Climate
The best time to visit Qatar is between October and April, when the temperature dips. The coolest months are December, January and February. The high temperatures (touching 50° in July-August) coupled with 90% humidity restricts outdoor activities during summer, but there is still plenty to do within Qatar’s well-fitted indoor facilities.
Doha
The shining jewel of Qatar is Doha a multicultural city, home to most of the country’s population as well as expatriate communities from a range of origins. Shopping abounds in the city’s plentiful malls, while the Corniche impresses visitors with picturesque architecture and dazzling views of the harbour. Doha boasts a myriad of cultural facilities, including the futuristic Education City and the National Museum. Having hosted the 2006 Asian Games the city is home to many sports complexes as well.
