This course will describe the penalties large employers must pay if they do not offer affordable, minimum value health coverage to employees in 2015, strategies to avoid or minimize penalties and how to pick the best strategy for your organization. The webinar will review the definitions of "large employer", "full-time employee", "minimum essential", "minimum value", "affordability", and "substantially all". The webinar will focus on the various strategies employers are using to avoid or minimize penalties and will provide examples from case studies.

Objectives of the Presentation:
This course will review health care reform’s rules related to the penalties that will be imposed on large employers, starting in 2015, if they do not offer all full-time employees health coverage that meets minimum value and affordability standards. The course will also describe the penalty that applies to employers, who fails to offer minimum essential coverage to substantially all full-time employees and the penalty that applies to employers that offer minimum essential coverage to substantially all full-time employees, but do not offer minimum value coverage that is affordable to all full-time employees.
