Overview: Where did we get the preconceived notion that life was going to be easy or fair?
In reality we are shaped by our experiences, both good and bad, that we encounter along the way. Although we all have our own stories of joy and hardship, we are still derailed by disruptions in life even when they are expected. These challenges include those associated with loss of a loved one, divorce, financial difficulties, an incurable heath diagnosis, deployment, natural disasters, and disconnection with a co-worker or any obstacle that defies our daily routine.
When our daily routine is compromised by personal hardship, so is our ability to cope with the challenges of the workplace. This webinar will provide insight and understanding of Life's Challenges inside and outside the workplace. With the right perspective and guidance balance will be achieved.
Why should you attend: All employees will experience challenges in and outside of work. Applying the right management techniques, understanding the circumstances and embracing the challenge will help to reduce the disruption. Most challenges cannot be avoided so creating a recovery plan and communicating the needs to implement the plan is vital to the individual and the workplace. Establishing expectations and a timeline will identify what is needed from a management perspective and co-workers involvement to handle the distraction.

What is a Life Challenge?
