SWAN 2010 - Workshop on the Security of Wireless and Ad-hoc Networks SWAN 2010
Topics/Call fo Papers
Scope: With the proliferation of wireless networks and wireless devices, issues related to security protection and privacy preservation have received wide attentions. This workshop aims to bring together researchers from all related communities with the goal of promoting the discussions and collaborations. We are interested in novel research on all aspects of security in wireless networking domain, which encompasses WMAN (Metropolitan Area), WLANs (Local Area), Cellular, Vehicular, Ad Hoc, Satellite, Underwater, Cognitive, Sensor Networks, and RFIDs.
Topics of Interest: This workshop is specifically interested in, but not limited to, the following research topics:
Computation-efficient or energy-efficient security primitive
Cross-layer design for security
Denial of services
Distributed user access control
Identity anonymity
Intrusion detection
Jamming/Anti-jamming communication
Key revocation solutions
Location anonymity
Malware in mobile networks
Mobile systems (OS and application) security
Privacy preserving
Rogue device/service detection
Secret key establishment in wireless/mobile environments
Secure protocols in all networking layers
Security and Performance tradeoff
Trust establishment
