NIS 2014 - FIRST INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON NETWORK AND INFORMATION SECURITY (NIS 2014)
Topics/Call fo Papers
With the ongoing evolution of networking technologies, such as internet of things, cloud computing, smart grid etc., the ways of information transmission have changed greatly, as well as the forms and organizations of information. Correspondingly, network security technologies must respond to ever more complex issues and malicious behaviors, especially after the exposure of PRISM. The continuous contribution on network and information security will improve the adoption of new technologies. Hence, this topic has gained more and more attention, and many novel research challenges recently arise. This workshop focuses on network and information security (especially the security and privacy in emerging technologies: internet of things, cloud computing, smart grid, openflow etc.). The purpose of NIS 2014 is to bring together information security researchers and developers to explore cutting-edge ideas and results, which also provides an environment to conduct intellectual discussions.
Aims and Scopes
NIS 2014 includes but is not limited to the following topics:
Security and Privacy in emerging technologies: internet of things, cloud computing, smart grid, openflow.
Security and Privacy in the Internet, peer-to-peer networks, overlay networks
Computer and network forensics
Traffic analysis, identification and classification
Network penetration and malicious behavior detection
