ICAIT 2010 - 2010 International Conference on Advanced Infocomm Technology (ICAIT)
Topics/Call fo Papers
Information and Communication Technology has taken the world by storm, touches virtually all aspects of our daily lives. It interweaves tightly into our private and public communications, interactions and transactions; inadvertently forms an intricate infrastructure for critical social and institutional functions such as commerce, banking and finance, utilities, national defense, education, entertainment and many more useful applications.
ICAIT is a three-day event comprising of keynote speeches by both leading researchers and industrial experts, focused symposiums, technical oral presentations and updates by industrial presenters. This event provides a platform to introduce advanced infocomm technologies that would shape the next generation of information and communication systems & technology platforms. We hope to be able to achieve the following goals:
Forge links between nations and build bridges between the academic and non-academic community; and between government and non-governmental organizations.
Facilitates discussion, encourage the formulation and adoption of standards and “open “ interfaces to enable rapid development, testing and deployment of infocomm solutions.
Encourages exchange and sharing of knowledge and ideas to boost growth in the information and communication industry.
Keynote Sessions
There will be renowned keynote speakers, providing strategic updates in the infocomm industry. Topics will cover issues of technologies/standards, applications and advanced solutions.
Technical Presentations
The technical tracks provide high-level research information about the next generation multimedia and computer systems, powerline communications, optical and wireless communications and networks.
Industrial Presentations
Fuelled by the innovative, dynamic and rapid global growth nature of ICT, fast-paced evolving Infocomm services and equipment industries are expanding and upgrading their workforce promptly in order to capture the increasing demands of the global market. These are technology-specific “how-to” sessions for developers and system integrators. The industrial tracks cover areas including mobile client and services, converged network infrastructure (e.g. FTTx), multimedia processing & management, web & portals services, and security & trust infrastructure.
