OTOSCM 2014 - The First International Workshop on Optimization Theory in Operations and Supply Chain Management (OTOSCM2014)
Topics/Call fo Papers
There is no doubt of the importance of quantitative models and computer based tools in decision
making in today’s business environment. This is especially true in the rapidly growing area of
operations and supply chain management. It has a wide application in many industries such as IT,
Logistics, Service and Manufacturing Industries, which have taken up the largest proportion in
global economy, and become the one of the fastest growth. With the rapid development of
operations and supply chain management in organizations all over the world, various models and
resolution approaches based on optimization theory are urgently required. The aim of this special
session is to present the recent works in this field. Theoretical and practical works can both be
submitted. Works with an applicable aspect are particularly encouraged.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
? Production and operations management
? Logistics and supply chain management
? Logistics and supply chain financing
? Production planning and control
? Quality management
? Revenue management
? Risk management
? Inventory management
? Service design and innovations
? E-commerce
? Green supply chains
? Decision making theories and models
? Queuing in supply chain
? Gaming analysis
? Healthcare operations and supply chain management
? Project management
? Empirical studies in related areas
