LANC 2014 - Latin America Networking Conference

Welcome to the eighth edition of the Latin America Networking Conference, LANC’14, taking place in Montevideo, Uruguay, jointly with CLEI, the Latin American Computing Conference.
LANC is organized together with CLEI (Centro Latino Americano de Estudios en Informática), with the sponsorship of IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing) and in cooperation with ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) SIGCOMM.
The conference program includes two invited talks, and 9 papers, which were selected from 24 submissions received from all over the world, resulting in a 37.5% acceptance ratio. The Program Committee members carefully evaluated the submissions, and all papers received at least three reviews. We want to thank them for their outstanding and timely work.
